Wow, lightbulb moment, “Is it wise to keep sowing with no system for reaping?”. That is such a great question to ask. I’ve struggled in this space for years. Working in so many different Christian ministries over the years that assume you will give so much above and beyond your job description because it is ‘your calling’ just leaves you exhausted and bitter and feeling like rest and boundaries are lazy. Now that I’m attempting a “businestry” model it is rearing its head again. Looks like I have some journaling to process. Thanks for a great post.
There is a time for sowing and a time for reaping. Spiritually, mentally, emotionally, and physically.
And the cycle often repeats.
